Welcome

Welcome to the Performance and Games Network website.

This network became active in March 2014, and is a collaboration between the Universities of Lincoln, Exeter, and Nottingham, Tiga, and Arts Queensland. We encourage participation from commercial game developers, researchers, and students; and will use performing arts as a lens to examine the design of video games.

Primary themes: Movement and gesture based games; performance and audience; context-aware mobile platforms; documentation of performance.

The network is supported by the UK Arts and Humanities Research Council.

For more background on the network, please take a look at the People pages, or visit the University of Lincoln Games Research Pages or The Mixed Reality Lab at Nottingham.

To join the network, attend events, or for more information, contact Dr. Patrick Dickinson pdickinson@lincoln.ac.uk.

Thanks to Joss Winn at the University of Lincoln for setting up and supporting this site!
